Yesterday (December 31, 2002) was fun. Got to see friends from CTY, NECYSC, and Paul (I think he's the only one not to fall in either category).

So, lets see, how did I waste 9 hours before midnight:

Wait for Will, go to Copley Plaza, walk around, debate whether to ask police for directions, walk some more, ask police, start walking to Hynes, get to Hynes

Walk around Hynes, get to Hall B, get yellow shirts, wait, walk around Hall B, wait, go to room next door, walk around, wait, wait some more, start practicing dragon, run around, run some more, take pictures, more practice, more waiting

Grand Procession, meet up with CTY ppl who are LATE, run around, run, walk, hold up middle part high, walk, run, sweat, run, walk, ... repeat until 1.1 linear miles is completed (more like 3 miles because of carrying dragon and we're going in zigzag)

Get to Boston Common, wait, wonder where truck with our bags are, wait some more, watch Alex and Jason do glowsticks, walk, find truck, find people who took the stuff, get stuff. Take pictures, go through Boston Common, snowball fight(s).

Walk to Chinatown, to some restaurant, hear fireworks from Common, squeezed into seats, pictures, talk about food, order food, pictures, talk, eat, wait for eileen & paul. Finish, leave, get chased down by waiter, we were off by 18 cents

Walk to Bubble Tea place, get tea (some of us), talk for a while. Other NECYSC ppl leave.

Get on T (next to yellow porno store), go to Fanueil hall, somehow we manage to kill like 3-4 hours. Go to bathroom, walk around, walk some more, stand for a while, talk, strings come out again.

See some junk drummers, go to them, watch them rest, Dan breaks, they break, we watch, Pai joins right before we leave. Meet up with other NECYSC ppl again, they leave again.

Walk in wrong direction, walk in right directions, walk to clock tower, clock tower closed, walk back to fanueil hall, walk around, sit and rest, find Fried Dough, don't find Fried Dough, get cookies, eat cookies, hear where Fried Dough is, get Fried Dough, Eileen leaves, eat Fried Dough, wait for Alex to get out of bathroom, wait some more, wait for Jason to find Alex, find Alex, go to waterfront,

Get close to waterfront, push our way, push, walk, stumble, walk, human chain, dont make it all the way, stand, watch fireworks.

Post-Midnight

Walk to subway (State) say goodbye to Paul, get on T, go to Downtown Crossing, get on Red, get off at Park, say goodbye to CTY ppl and Dan, go to Park Street, say goodbye to Suz, Glenda, Julie, get on T, go to Pai's Aunt's home, go home.
